Our Story
Wilma Bare
Anyone that knows Wilma, knows she is a person with a good heart, who loves to see everyone happy. Wilma is a girly girl, who loves fruity drinks and everything sweet! She also loves being home and just sitting on the couch watching a good movie, anything on Lifetime or marathons of Law and Order: SVU Edition. Power is also one of her favs, as well as The Game and what girl do you know who isn't obsessed with Scandal!
Wilma loves the sun and anything involving the word 'Caribbean', hence their wedding destintation : ) She loves herself some Moises and is ecstatic to be his one and only! Wilma adores her beautiful family, who supports and loves her dearly. Wilma is 1 of three girls, and is the #1 auntie to Jhasmer and Jhannior and godmother to Nausan.
Wilma loves being around positive and influential people, and feels very blessed to have amazing friends that are supportive and are there through it all.
Moises Docanto
Moises is the guy who is always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. A true sports fanatic, Moises breathes, eats, and sleeps football - his favorite team - the New England Patriots, of course! He loves playing MADDEN…All Day...and is very lucky that his lovely wife to be allows it!
Like Wilma, Moises loves shoes and clothes, black and blue are his favorite colors, he loves house, rock and hip hop music, he is absolutely HILARIOUS and one of his favorite meals consists of chicken and broccoli, courtesy of Wilma of course.
Moises has 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 6 beautiful nieces and nephews and 3 beautiful godkids. Yes, he is exremely blessed! Family means everything to Moises, and he values his parents love and family's support for showing him the right path. Having 3 sisters has made the relationship with Wilma work well, because it helped when trying to figure out what mood she's in : )
The Proposal
February 15, 2014 was a cold day and a snowstorm was heading Northeast. Wilma went out that Saturday morning, as she does every weekend, to run some errands and also to prepare a special dinner for Valentines day. During this time, Moises was acting a little strange with constant calling and texting asking for Wilma’s ETA every 5 minutes. Wilma responded with “Babe, I have one more stop to make at the grocery store near the house.” Oddly enough, Moises insisted that he accompany her, Wilma obliged and made her way back home to pick him up.
Upon entering their home, Wilma was extremely puzzled to see all the lights off, with lit candles and rose petals around the house. When she turned around, Moises was on bended knee beside the ring, with the words “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” written on a glass table in red lipstick. Wilma immediately started to cry and understandably was in complete utter shock. She took a deep breath and said YES!
They are both anxiously waiting for the day where they are officially Mr. and Mrs. Moises Docanto!!!!
